Mixed media paintings, created with watercolor, acrylic, pen, and gloss sealant. These are postcard size, made with the intention to use mail as a form of communication combined with fine art representing little beautiful things in our world. I thought about the game "I Spy" when making these, and how the game requires paying attention, catching glimpses with our eyes rather than our phones. I hope to pay more attention with my mind's snapshots more often, appreciating the views, and share that experience with others. The postal service is great for that. Who doesn't want a bit of fun mail, a hit of dopamine among all the bills and Spectrum spam we normally find in our mailboxes. These pieces will most likely be for sale as originals and/or printed in some other forms eventually. Ya gotta start small sometimes.
